Art Journal: Cat with Attitude
This art journal class is creating a mystical background, then building a scene with Noof (the cat) showing a little fun attitude.
With many layers being created, stamping and colouring in, this will be a long class making for a fun day of creating. We will take a break for lunch, feel free to bring a bag lunch or plan to visit one of the several eateries in the area. We have a small fridge, but no microwave.
Bring:
Your art journal, spray bottle with water.
Something to colour with; pencils, markers or other. (Sample used polychromo pencils)
Black Gelly Roll Pen, OR black fine tip marker.
Ink applicator tool (prefer media blending brush)
White gel pen
Gel Mat Medium OR liquid glue
Baby wipes, paper towel, non-stick craft mat,
heat tool if you have one.
scissors, pencil, eraser
Stencil: 4 circles stencil by Southern Ridge (or simalar design)
Distress Oxide Ink Pads in at least 3 colours. More colours would be better.
Oxides used in the sample are; Rustic Wilderness, Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, Wild Honey, Fossilized Amber
Bulldog style clip x 2
Optional: Glitter Gel Pens in yellow, purple or various colours.

| Skill Details: | Would be helpful to have created at least 1 art journal project in the past. However, if you are brand new to art journaling and up for the challenge of a face paces project, you are welcome! |
