Art Journal Face Series: Fall
Let's art journal faces! No drawing for this project, it will just look as if you did ;)
This is the first in a series of classes focusing on faces in our art journals. We will do something a little different with each project. This project has all the beautiful colours of a dreamy fall.
This project has many layers and best suited for those who have done at least some art journaling. However, if you are up for a fast paced challenge, beginners are certainly welcome to join us. Note that the 2nd class in this face series is much easier.
As an all day class, we will be taking a break for lunch. You are welcome to bring a bag lunch, or visit one of the many nearby eateries. We have a small fridge, but no microwave.
Bring:
art journal book
non-stick craft mat
stencil: Tim Holtz Autumn (or other fall leaves stencil)
baby wipes and paper towel
cup for paint water
mat medium and paint brush
heat tool
scissors
paint brushes: wide flat, and a narrow
spray bottle with water
coloured pencils for hair and face colours.
samples uses Polychromo colours: 139, 249, 136, 192, 187,, 127, 132, 130, but you do not need all of these. Bring what you already have.

Distress Oxide Ink Pad: Wilted Violet (or simular)
